The Radical Truth-tellers: An Introduction to Our New Workshop Leaders

Over the last two months, TMI Project has been training seven new workshop leaders to join our burgeoning team. Before they begin leading workshops, they are going to experience sharing their stories. We hope you will join us to meet them, hear their deeply personal, radically true stories, and welcome them into the TMI Project community.

What does TMI Project mean by radical truth-telling? It means telling the “TMI” parts of your story you usually keep to yourself because of shame, stigma, safety, or cultural expectations. We tell this part of our story despite the consequences, both for personal liberation and in an effort to create extreme changes in existing views, habits, conditions, institutions, or political policies. This is how Storytelling is Social Justice.
