Tuna wrap & pulled pork sandwich, The Lunchbox.
“Ulster County’s Smallest Restaurant”
Nestled among Stockade’s popular eateries and drinking dens boasting windows and outdoor seating, one might overlook this tiny, seemingly anonymous walkup window churning out fast lunch classics.
Located at the historic Kingston Opera House in uptown Kingston, The Lunchbox is one of Kingston's better-kept secrets. The Lunchbox brings a decidedly different approach than its neighboring restaurants. The Lunchbox proves that good things can come in really small packages!
Sean Miller, is co-owner, and the chef behind the Lunchbox. The name actually came from the Roseanne sitcom and Sean made it a compound word because there just wasn't enough space!
The Lunchbox’s simple menu focuses on an eclectic selection of homemade soups, salads, wraps and home-baked cookies and breads. Miller has spent years winning over the Uptown neighborhood at his walk-up window providing affordable, fast, and delicious food to area locals and visitors.
The Lunchbox also delivers for free within a two-block radius and is open for lunch 11 am to 4 pm Monday thru Friday.
