Join TMI Project, the Hudson Valley’s true storytelling nonprofit, for Black Stories Matter: Every Word Spoken, a true storytelling performance featuring all-new stories touching on the triumphs, humor, beauty, and resilience of the Black experience in America. In alignment with the Black Lives Matter movement, these stories were developed in Black-led true storytelling workshops where participants wrote about, shared, and reflected upon their experiences without having to justify, explain, or defend their truth.

The live storytelling performance is open to all, will be followed by a Q & A with the participating storytellers and facilitated by Black Stories Matter Co-Directors and Workshop Leaders Dara Lurie and Micah.
