“Following a long tradition of creative entrepreneurship in the Hudson Valley, Kingston Design Connection brings together designers, artists, makers, contractors and vendors to produce something truly unique in the region. The annual Kingston Design Showhouse is a key program through which we achieve our goal of building community through design. Participants make lasting artistic and business connections which strengthen individual businesses and the local economy. Every year, the Kingston Design Showhouse encourages more work to be sourced locally and promotes Hudson Valley design on a national platform. Kingston Design Connection also develops other opportunities throughout the year to connect creatives (Pop Up events; panel discussions) and brings us together to showcase our work at regional and national events (Architectural Digest Show; Rhinebeck Craft Fair).
